Privacy

Rondelo runs in your browser. Tournaments, player names and scores are stored on your device and never sent to any server.

Your tournament data

Everything you enter — events, player names, scores and standings — is saved in your browser’s private storage on the device you use (OPFS, a storage area only this site can read). It is never uploaded, and there is no server that could receive it.

Clearing this site’s data in your browser deletes it. There is no copy anywhere else, so there is nothing for us to restore.

No account

Rondelo has no sign-up, login or user profiles. We do not know who you are, and we do not collect email addresses, phone numbers or any other contact details.

Analytics

To learn which formats and group sizes people actually use, the site uses or will use privacy-friendly product analytics (PostHog, hosted in the EU). It is cookieless: no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no advertising trackers and no personal identifiers.

What is collected is aggregated usage such as “an event was created”, the format, the number of players and courts, and whether the event was finished. Player names, scores and anything else you type are never part of these events and never leave your device.

Fonts

The site currently loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files from Google, which sees your IP address in that request, as with any resource loaded from another site. This will change once the app ships its fonts as part of the site itself.

Hosting

The pages are served over HTTPS by a hosting provider, which technically processes your IP address to deliver them, as every website does. Server logs are used only to keep the site running and are not combined with anything you do in the app.

Changes and contact

This page is updated whenever the product changes what it collects, for example when analytics are switched on or fonts move onto the site itself.
